Yes, cut & paste to Word/notepad may lose fonts, etc.
Another thought, if the message in HTML format then each GroupWise message has the TEXT.htm file which store the HTML contents of the message. It could be possible to save the TEXT.htm file, render contents (i.e. remove disclaimer, etc) then open the TEXT.htm in a browser (i.e. Internet Explorer) then print. Also depend on whether disclaimer/meta data you want to skip from print, easy to identify (i.e. in a specific format).
As I said earlier, all these workaround will require significant changes to the applet. If you have in-house Visual Basic Scripting (VBS) programming experience then you can use the Formativ to modify the applet. Otherwise you need to contact our partners (http://advansyscorp.com/resellers_formativ.htm) for custom enhancement.
Regards,
Advansys SupportUnfortunately, we haven’t had any report about this.
Which version of the GroupWise client you are using (See Help – About GroupWise)? Please make sure to use the latest point release of the GroupWise client: http://download.novell.com/patch/finder/
May be the information in Excel/CSV file not in correct format. Can you reproduce the behaviour by creating a test CSV file? For example, you can save the information below (one entry per line) to a CSV file (*.csv) and use it as data source.
“Name”,”FirstName”,”LastName”,”Email”
“Bill Smith1″,”Bill1″,”Smith1″,”bsmith1@test.com”
“Bill Smith2″,”Bill2″,”Smith2″,”bsmith2@test.com”
…more entries…Regards,
Advansys SupportUnfortunately, its not easy to skip specific information when you print.
It may be possible by rendering information (skip disclaimer details) then paste into Word/Notepad, etc and print from there, which will require significant modification to the applet.
Its always a good idea to avoid duplicate information in first place. We are not sure why the applet need to enter Sender, Recipients, subject, date, etc at the end of the message, where these information available in message?

Advansys SupportWhich version of the Formativ Framework you are running (See GroupWise Help – About Formativ)?

Regards,
Advansys Support- Is it 32-bit or 64-bit machine?
- Have you logged in as normal/power user? Can you reproduce this behaviour when you logged in as Admin user?
- Can you reproduce this behaviour on another machine?
- You can try to change the Stationery location to another folder? To change the location: run the solution – Settings – General then choose another location.
Solution will not copy your existing stationery to new location, which you will need to copy manually, copy all sub folders from “C:Users<USER-NAME>AppDataLocalAdvansysFormativ1.0DataStationery” to the new location.
Regards,
Advansys SupportSorry for the delay in our response.
Unfortunately, we are unable to reproduce the behaviour, it could be rights issue. On Windows 7, stationery stored in the following folder, please make sure the logged in user has read/write rights.
C:Users<USER-NAME>AppDataLocalAdvansysFormativ1.0DataStationery
You may also need to manually add yourself (the user you’re logged in) read & write rights to the root C: drive. On Windows 7, the C: drive root has limited access rights for all users, and sub folders automatically inherit those limited access rights.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Advansys SupportThanks for your post.
We have few reports about this issue and most case it was due to insufficient permissions for this user.
- We have discovered that the error may occurred when Viewer attempts to create a COM object, ‘Microsoft.XMLDOM’ (part of the installation of Internet Explorer 5.5 or above).
The relevant key in the Windows Registry is:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTCLSID{2933BF90-7B36-11d2-B20E-00C04F983E60}It has a subkey ‘VersionList’ that includes a reference to the following file:
C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32msxml3.dllPerhaps the normal user does not have sufficient permissions to access the Registry key? Is Internet Explorer installed?
- Can you start the Viewer as “Run as Administrator” (right-click on file viewer.exe, then select “Run as Administrator”)?
Hope this helps. If the problem persists, please provide more details:
– Which Operating System you are using (i.e. XP, Vista, Windows 7)?
– What is the path to the archive location (i.e. local disk, network, CD/DVD, other)?
– Can you reproduce the behaviour on another machine?Regards,
Advansys SupportUnfortunately Formativ cannot be used in GroupWise rules, such a rules based replies/forward, because this is executed at the Post Office level and not handled by the client.

Advansys SupportSorry for the delay in our response.
- What is the title and description of the error message? Could you please send a screenshot of the error message to support (support@advansyscorp.com).
- Does the GroupWise archive stored in network folder?
- Can you reproduce the behaviour on another GroupWise archive? If you unable to reproduce it another archive then it could be GroupWise data related. You could try making a minor change to the archive before trying again; we have seen that this can force the database to remove corrupt data. To do this, open the archive in GroupWise and do any of the following before trying again:
– Drag the Mailbox or another folder to a different position in the folder list.
– Create a new folder and move some messages to the new folder. - If any log file available then please send it to support.
Hope this helps. We look forward to hearing from you.

Advansys SupportFormativ is wrapper around GroupWise API to make it easier to access the underlying API.
Make sure you are running the latest point release of the GroupWise client. Looks like GroupWise API failed to refresh the default library. We will contact Novell to get more information. In the meantime, you can also post a message in GroupWise Object API forum.
