        Hello John,

        Not that I am aware of, unfortunately. The only workaround that comes to mind would be to write an applet that periodically checks the folder to ensure it doesn’t contain any items. If you already have an applet written, you might be able to combine this functionality into it.

          I have replied to Leon directly via email. Are you able to see the small gray hammer icons next to each of the libraries in Formativ Admin? If not, it is possible you may have erroneously configured yourself as an Administrator of some other library.

            Thank you for your question above. I am not aware of might cause this to happen – we certainly have no other reports of this happening elsewhere. The fact the splash screen appears, and the control panel applet is still available, yet the message ‘could not locate Formativ’ appears when you access the control panel applet would infer that either the registry entry that points to the location of the main Formativ application has been deleted, or the the actual program file itself is gone. How this migh have happened I don’t know. Out of interest, you may wish to have a look to see if a file called ‘formativ.dll’ appears under ‘C:Program FilesAdvansysFormativ’.

            As a first step I would re-install Formativ Runtime and try again and let us know if anything dissapears again.

                  You’ll find the ClientState documentation here.. This is the implementation object. It’s parent object also exposes a couple of methods that may be useful.

                    I’m not sure why the config settings you are using are not working. Are you using the most recently available Runtime installer? If not, you may wish to download it from our downloads page and try again.

                    Formativ reads the following key to determine if the Help Center should be displayed:

                    HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareAdvansys Corporationformativ1.0Settings

                    Key Name: Help Centre Reminder (DWORD)

                    Setting this value to 0 will stop the Help Center from appearing.

                      The source code for all existing solutions is avaiulable for purchase. I can’t seem to locate your email address in the support forum member database, so if you would like to send a message to sales@advansyscorp.com explaining what you would like to do, I’m sure something could be negotiated.

                        Hello Martin,

                        I am not aware of any simple means to obtain the default GroupWise signature text. I recall we have already submitted this as an enhancement request to Novell from an API standpoint.

                              Unfortunately, ItemPrint() displays the Print Item dialog in GroupWise. It doesn’t print anything, and requires manual user intervention to start the actual print process. This probably eliminates it as a potential solution.

                              The only way you could currently get this to work would be to write your own printing functionality (perhaps automating the application associated with the attachment in question).

                                Once installed, the only way to disable/hide the Quick Config utility is to physically remove it from the workstation. You can safely delete the file ‘quickconfig.exe’ from the Formativ program directory to do this.

                                You can also choose not to install the Quick Config utility by using the following config.ini installation option:

                                [Configuration]
                                Quick Config=0

                                See the ‘Windows Installer’ topic in the Distribution Kit documentation for details on how to use a config.ini file.
