Thanks MA. Performance problems with the GroupWise Address Book APIs is a known issue, including memory leaks. Novell has addressed some of these problems in the later releases of the GroupWise Windows Clients. It is recommended that you try again with the GroupWise Windows Client 6.5.5 or higher (6.5.6 is still in beta).

Thanks for this info. I think the problem arose from an incorrect choice of options during installation. By the time we realised the error, a number of users had already used the application and had the incorrect setting stored in their profile. Although we were restoring the association, each time one of these users logged on they were overwriting the HKCR value. I have now written a script which corrects the registry values for these users as they logon.
Thanks again.
I’ve just noticed that the association is not being disabled when the server reboots but when a user starts GroupWise even though I have unchecked the ‘every time I start’ box. I can’t test it at the moment because there are a number of users on the machine but I’m guessing that I need to restore the association after switching the server into install mode.
Yes, I’m logged in as administrator. After restoring I checked the registry key and it had been correctly set to it’s ‘normal’ value but after each reboot it’s back to the Formative setting.
Will this work on a citrix sessions?
