Working! For some reason the .msi didn’t want to overwrite the 1.2 installation, but a clean install works fine.
Now – please don’t think I’m being too demanding , but is there any way to start the viewer in a certain directory? i.e. start browsing at a certain UNC path or drive letter, or even just specify the archive location from the command line or shortcut? For example, a2goview.exe \serverdataarchives to let the user browse all the archives in that directory, or a2goview.exe \serverdataarchivesExUserArchive to launch straight into “ExUserArchive”?
Could you confirm the download location of the beta? I’ve used the link for beta 2 previously mailed to me, but the a2goview.exe from that (dated February 2007) doesn’t give the option to select an archive.
That’s FANTASTIC news – I’ll download it now and report back.
Apologies about the bounced e-mails – a change of company structure a year ago also changed my address. It’s all updated now.
I’ve just received an e-mail detailing features on 1.5b2, but there no sign of being able to pick an archive from the viewer. Is there any update on when this functionality will be added? It’s #1 on our wish list …
Is there any update on this? I can’t emphasise how much we need this feature. We’ve moved our users onto Thin Clients (i.e. no DVDs), and the only way to give users access to old archives is to create individual published Citrix applications.
If we could give them access to a single viewer app that points to a shared directory with all the archived mailboxes …
Ooops .. someone (*cough* me *cough*) had turned on a very strict RBL on the mail gateway. It’s off now, could you resend the mail please?
