We have tested in Outlook, Outlook Express, Hotmail and Yahoo mail. All of these show the gibberish. We are using Groupwise 7.03 client and server.

Here is an example of what we get at the bottom of these emails:
      ! DAE8bڞɢȨ)ܖbɫmifz{l^^z觵yr*bz{ljw{Z{“+bw`Q +r’^Zfmkzjwwu퉩H|rzz-קukyȩʋ^b~’aj֧جrZ, k{bbnbz+ǁFڟ*+bw(֢bڶ֜mbm+,keʚ&H*.ޭakj{&”xz讙^jǧ؟^zzfhץzh覙bjץɩu^az)ږڞɢȨt

I have no doubt that this is likely the Mime.822 file, however I believe that there is something in the emailer that is causing these other clients to attempt to display the contents of the file

OK, that seems to have fixed two of the issues: the original one and also the one where non-groupwise clients were not getting the recipient address.

There is still the issue of a non-groupwise client displaying a bunch of gibberish at the bottom of the email, I am assuming that these clients are trying to display the mime file created by the emailer. Is there a way to keep this from happening?

I am getting this error with a newly downloaded 2.0 version of Personalized Emailer Pack. Why is the 2.0.30 version not available on the website to download when this is a known issue?

The emailer also seems to be causing some other issues with emails at the recipients end. Some systems are displaying several lines of gibberish at the end of the emails sent using the emailer, some systems are also either blanking the “To:” field in the recipients box or changing it to “undisclosed-recipients”
