I always have the Size column enables so I can sort by size and find the big emails, that’s how I monitored the size.

Anyway, it was the Mime.822 tick box that I had not ticked. Once I did that, the size dramatically reduced.

Update:

Just downloaded 6.5.6 client from Novell, just to try installing it on my Vista test PC.

As with 6.5.5, installation fails at 99% stating the install engine has stopped responding.

Vista Business.

If you have any wise words to add Nickhoare, I would appreciate any detail about how you managed to get 6.5.6 installed on Vista.

WOW! 6.5.6 works on Vista?

I spoke to Novell for weeks about 6.5.5 not installing on Vista. I enquired as to whether 6.5.6 would install and they said it wouldn’t and said I would have to upgrade to 7!

Nickhoare, did you experience similar issues with 6.5.5? Or have you always run 6.5.6?

I would really appreciate any feeback on the subject.
