We installed Stationery and the Runtime on a Windows 7 machine. When we open Stationery, none of the default stationery shows up, and when we try to create one, it will not save or show again. What could be the problem.
Unfortunately, we are unable to reproduce the behaviour, it could be rights issue. On Windows 7, stationery stored in the following folder, please make sure the logged in user has read/write rights.
You may also need to manually add yourself (the user you’re logged in) read & write rights to the root C: drive. On Windows 7, the C: drive root has limited access rights for all users, and sub folders automatically inherit those limited access rights.
Have you logged in as normal/power user? Can you reproduce this behaviour when you logged in as Admin user?
Can you reproduce this behaviour on another machine?
You can try to change the Stationery location to another folder? To change the location: run the solution – Settings – General then choose another location. Solution will not copy your existing stationery to new location, which you will need to copy manually, copy all sub folders from “C:Users<USER-NAME>AppDataLocalAdvansysFormativ1.0DataStationery” to the new location.
