I have been saving messages just fine to a FAT 32 portable hard disk. However, when I tried to save one more batch of messages, I got a Windows error message like, “unable to create directory or file” and no more messages are saved after that. The disk is not full–the message file is about 1.1 Gb on a 10 GB drive. Also, I don’t think I am not trying to create a directory or file–I am only trying to update the existing fml file. My fml file contains about 12,000 entries, so far.

Sorry for the delay in our response.

We haven’t had any report about this issue. Please make sure the destination folder is exists on the disk. The error message may be cause by a problematic message. Can you save a single message to the disk? Can you try to save a different batch of messages.

Look forward to hearing from you.

        Regards,

The destination folder does exist. I got around the problem by creating a new destination folder, and changing my Message Saver configuration to go to the new folder. Then I was able to save more messages, to the new folder.

A while later though I have run into a new problem, which I’ll post separately.

          Thanks for your help.
