Can A2Go 3.1 read temporary restored files without a eDirectory tree or PO?

We need to do some email discovery and would like to look back at some old GroupWise restores that have been saved to a redirected temporary location. Is it possible for Archive to Go to look at the redirected files that have been restored to a tempory location with out spinning up a seperate eDirectory tree and Post Office agent. Can Archive to go sinply be configured to read the temporary restored files and make an A2Go from that?
