Please note that I am not a developer but stmbled accross teh forum while researching, so forgive me if this is considered off topic.

We have several clients using Groupwise 6.5 and have been looking for a colution to import appointments in either VCS or ICS formats. from what I see so far, there is no native way to do that, but I see the outlook soltuion you provide may help.

What we need is quite simply the ability to point to an ICalendar or VCaalendar event file from teh groupwise client and import a single appointment into it. the appointment itself is fairly simple: Start Date/Time, End Date/Time, subject, etc. I’ve included a sample of a iCal format that we’d need to import.

Anyone out there done this or would be willing to do on a contract assignment? Thanks in advance for any help, interest or pointers.

We (Advansys) are in the final stages of implementing a solution that does exactly this. I couldn’t locate an email address for you in the forum member database, so if you would like to send an email to support@advansyscorp.com, we could get in contact and see what we can do.

        Regards,

        Advansys Support

I am working on a similar project and was curious if there is anyway to automatically post appointments to a Groupwise user from a pop email account. I have formativ Creator and the ical appication. I tried emailing a event attachment to groupwise from outlook express and it did not work. Thanks in advance,
          Troy

The Advansys solution iCal To Appointment supports all-day events. Will this feature suffice for your needs? Perhaps you could send a sample iCal file to support@advansyscorp.com for us to determine whether this solution can do what you require.

We have replied to you also by direct email.
