      I’m trying to save all the email in a mailbox. When I attempted this yesterday, there were ~2200 messages. At 424, the process stopped and a message telling me the name of the file was too long was displayed. It stated that Windows has a limitation of 128 characters in the path and 128 in the filename or something along those lines. before I even started the process though, I set the Message saver option to limit the length of the filename to 50 characters and the path was only 12 chracters long. I verified this after the failure too. Any ideas why this isn’t working?

        Are you able to reproduce the problem if you save only that message to the same target folder?

        Please send a screen shot of the error to support@advansyscorp.com, along with the full message subject line and the Message Saver configuration file. You can find the file, Message Saver_Flexalock.INI, at the location similar to this:

        C:Documents and Settings[Windows User Name]Local SettingsApplication DataAdvansysFormativ1.0Config

          Once you isolate the message, please forward the message as attachment to Support (support@advansyscorp.com) so we can investigate.

            I was able to avoid the error about file length by telling Message saver to include the attachments as part of the message instead of in a separate folder.

            Must have been an extra long attachment name.
