Free Message Viewer Question

Apologies if this is the wrong forum . . .

We have been given approx 1500 .fml files from a few years back, we have no access to the original files or archives, all we have is the .fml files.

We need to translate these into .msg, .mhtml. , .eml or other mail format so we can extract the attachments and maintain message / attachment relationships.

Was wondering if you had a solution already as this is xml format before we embark on writing xml parses etc.

Thank you for your enquiry. We have the following products currently under development.

• We have recently developed FML Extractor utility which extract the Advansys FML file (FML file is created by the Advansys Message Saver or Archive To Go product) and save the message body as html and all file attachments into a subfolder. We are expecting to release this product soon.
• We are currently working on a product to convert an Archive To Go archive into Outlook PST format. The solution have option to import fml files to Outlook folder. We hope the solution may be available for release at the end of first quarter 2008. Please send an email to Support (support@advansyscorp.com) if you want to be a beta tester of this solution.
• We also working on the FML Restorer product which convert the Fml files to GroupWise. This product currently in final stage and we are expecting to release soon.

Is the FML Extractor utility available for purchase yet? I have an immediate conversion need similar to Mike’s.

Sorry, the “FML Extractor” is in beta phase. Our engineers are doing the final testing and documentation update for the “PST Creator”. Once the “PST Creator” is released then we will look into releasing the other utility.
