Support ConsoleOne 1.3.5, Netware 6.5, eDirectory 8.7.3

Hi,
Our eDirectory technicians have asked me to check with you on the following before we setup eDirectory management in our test lab with Formative 2.0:
1. Do you support your ConsoleOne 1.2 snap-in with ConsoleOne 1.3.5? We are concerned as we had issues with ConsoleOne 1.2 as it corrupted the eDirectory schema.
2. We cannot see on your website that you have a Novell tested and approved certificate for Netware 6.5. This is what we will be using. Do you support this?
3. Do you support eDirectory 8.7.3?

Yes. The snapins work fine with 1.3.5. We are currently using 1.3.6 in-house.

Yes – you shouldn’t have any problems with Netware 6.5.

Yes. We use 8.7.3 on one of our demonstration systems in-house without any known problems.

Can you please advise if you are going to get the ‘yes’ Novell tested and approved certificate for Netware 6.5? If you are then approximately when will this be achieved.

Also we are shortly upgrading to eDirectory 8.8. Do you support this with Formativ 2.0?

Thank you for your question. While we may seek 6.5 Yes Testing certification in future, we do not have plans at this time. We do intend to support 8.8 in the future. As Formativ’s eDirectory support is based on basic directory standards and techniques, we do not expect any issues with upward compatibility.
