I’m a user, not an IT person. Our division bought ATG but our organization IT department doesn’t support it. I have installed ATG Creator locally.
I have two problems:
1) ATGC hangs at the end of archive creation at “postprocessing”. I can still open the Viewer and see my email, but I have to close out of Creator by clicking the X button. Clicking Stop has no effect, it’s greyed out.
2) ATGC will not export my native GW archive. If I uncheck the “include archive” button, I get a usable database. If I include the archive, the export fails every time. Even if I can see that messages were exported (by the file size) Viewer will not find the ATG archive.
I’ve look at the documentation. I’ve cleaned up both archive and main account and made sure there are no folders with more than 5000 messages (I kept them to around 4000 just to be safe). I installed .NetFramwork 4.0, since that is the latest version. If I actually need 2.0 let me know.
I don’t have access to GWcheck because apparently it’s only available with the rest of the installation files, and of course IT won’t give it to me since they didn’t want us to buy ATGC in thefirst place. From my reading I’m not sure if I can even use it locally.
So, any ideas? I’m going to be in big trouble if I can’t get this to work since I’m the one who purchased it for the division. Thanks much.
