      Hello. I’m having some issues importing an ics file from WebEx.

      When I run iCal to Appointment on the message in question with the .ics attachment, I get a popup which says

      “A valid iCal attachment could not be found. Details of the problems detected are below:

      Error(s):
      – Unable to extract the required information. The following marker was not found: BEGIN:VEVENT”

      Here are the top lines from the ics file:
      BEGIN:VCALENDAR
      PRODID: -//WebEx//WebEx Meeting Center 6.0//EN
      VERSION:2.0
      METHOD:REQUEST
      BEGIN:VTIMEZONE
      TZID:Mountain Time
      BEGIN:STANDARD

      What needs to be done so this type of ics file is accepted?

        We are not sure why the solution unable to find the marker BEGIN:VEVENT where the marker is present. Could you please send the ics file to support (support@advansyscorp.com) for review.

          I too would like to know the status of this. I receive many *.ics files and have received three webex *.ics files in the last day. These do not import. I downloaded the trial of your product for the sole purpose of testing the import of *ics files.

          Please respond.

            The ics file created by the webex do not have carriage return and line feed pair so the existing version unable to process the file. We have updated this solution and will make available to download from the cool solution site soon.

            In the mean time, I have sent you the updated version (1.0.13) by direct email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
