SmartFields feature does not support extended characters

SmartFields is a feature of the following Formativ solutions:

• Multiple Signatures
• Stationery
• Templates

The following ASCII characters only are supported in a SmartField placeholder:

• unaccented alphanumeric characters;
• _ (underscore);
• – (hyphen);
• : (colon);
• SPACE;
• TAB;
• carriage return;
• linefeed.

Advansys plans to release an update with support for accented and other characters from the extended set as soon as possible.
