Context sensitive toolbar icon

Hello

I created a toolbar icon and it works quiet well. But now I’d like to make it context sensitive, this means that the icon is only enabled if i.e. an appointment is selected. Otherwise it is disabled but visible.

Is this possible? It would be great.

No, unfortunately it is not possible to dynamically change the state of an Applet’s toolbar icon.

One alternative may be persisting a data flag to an INI file (for example) and when the applet runs you could first check the INI flag’s state and display a different message or just do nothing exit the applet.
