“An incomplete installation has been detected”

I’m evaluating Formativ for deployment on our Windows 2003 & Citrix environment.

After installing the Formativ runtime on a test Win2003 server and starting the GroupWise (v7.0) client, I get the error:

“An incomplete installation has been detected. Please reinstall the product and try again.”

I’ve found a forum topic from almost 2 years ago, which seems to relate to the same problem as I’m having. However, this is not an upgrade of any previous version of Formativ, and I’m installing as the domain administrator. Can anyone help us complete our evaluation?

Hi, I have the same issue installing on a Windows 2003 terminal server/citrix 4.5 box. All previous Citrix installations have been fine but now its getting this error.

Any help is appreciated.

The beta release of the Formativ 2.0.2 Frameworks is now available for the Windows Vista (x86) operating system and GroupWise 8. Please see the thread for more information.

I’ve installed on a Windows 7 Client and I’m getting the “incomplete installation” error.

The Formativ 2.0.2 beta supports Window Vista or Windows 7, you can get more information and download link from here: http://advansyscorp.com/formativ_beta.htm

Formativ 2.0.2 available as, non-expiring version (Upgrade Protection Customers Only) and expiring version (Trial users and customers WITHOUT upgrade protection).

Please uninstall the existing version of Formativ from Control Panel – Add or Remove Programs then install the Formativ 2.0.2.
