WSH Is Disabled Message

If “Disable the VBS/VBE association every time I start GroupWise” is unchecked in the Formativ control panel (which is the default), is there any other way the association can be disabled?

I am getting reports from Formativ Runtime users that a dialog box keeps popping up saying WSH is disabled, crashing their computers in some cases.

At the link below you can download a console application which restores the VBS association and turns off the Formativ ‘disable associations’ settings. As always, please test it on one or two machines before using it globally.

This setting is controlled by the registry entry: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareAdvansys Corporationformativ1.0Settings

Value Name: ‘Redirect Associations’
Value: 0

0 = Do not redirect associations.

This controls the ‘checking’ of the redirection each time GroupWise starts up. As you may have done already, you need to ensure the VBS associations are already re-enabled via the Formativ Control Panel Applet.
