Email Retention Policy Error

Hi,
I am getting the following error every time I try to delete an email:

Email Retention Policy – Formativ
Sorry – Corporate Policy dictates you cannot delete email.

This error occurs only when I load Formativ Studio 2.0.

This error does not occur if I remove Studio v2.0 but still use Runtime 2.0,Productivity Pack 2.0, Personalized Emailer Pack 2.0, Portals 2.0, Calendar Pack 2.0, Presentation Pack 2.0 and and approx 30 free solutions.

Hi,

It sounds like you have an open source example applet solution installed which is integrated with the GroupWise On Delete event. The reason why it could occur with Formativ Studio only is because Studio (and Creator) can run open source applets but Runtime can run only Flexalocked applets.

You can prevent the problem by either disabling or removing the applet concerned (it sounds like it could be one of our BrainShare example applets).
