Personalized mass email applet (again)

Is there anyway that you could provide this as a more open solution, were someone can change/enhance the mail list by retrieving users from a number of different possible sources, while still retaining the rest of you code.

This applet is one of the main reasons for having Formativ signed off, but its looking like I need to write my own version of this applet to keep eveyone happy and I’d rather just be able to extend yours were needed.

We appreciate your requirement for enhancing the Personalized Mass Email solution. In fact, we have plans to introduce this type of functionality in a future release, although a specific availability timeframe has not be set.

Also just so you know, I have found an issue with this applet. If a user switches to a proxy account the applet does not take the change into account and still sends from the original user’s email address rather than the proxied email address.

The current Personalized Mass Email solution is not currently designed to work when proxying to another user.

It may be possible technically to achieve this outcome, although full proxy rights to any alternate account would be required.

I will pass your feedback onto the Formativ engineering team for consideration in the next features review.

I’ve checked our records and you were emailed twice about BSP source code to the address you have indicated, once on the 27 Oct and again on the 31 Oct as a follow-up to your follow-up.
