Deleting emails from an Archive to Go

Is it possible to delete messages from an Archive to go? (Specifically ones with large attachments)

Or even somehow just remove large attachments from the Archive?

We run into situations sometimes where we need to move an archive between storage solutions, sometimes the archive is too large and needs to have attachments or messages that are not as important removed so that the overall size of the archives is lessened.

If there is a way to to do this, even a technical way I would be very interested.
