We receive this message when archiving a particular account. It is the only account we have run across this error with.

Thank you for reporting this error.

Have you run a full GWCheck on the account? Is the account a GroupWise native/personal archive?

If you inspect the process log file in the export folder, is the error associated with a particular GroupWise folder?

Are there any folders in this account which contain 5,000 or more items? If so, could you try splitting them into smaller folders like Mailbox-2007, Mailbox-2006, etc.? Then try again to archive this account.

If the problem persists, please send the process log file to support@advansyscorp.com

        Regards,

I did run a full check.

Here are the mailbox stats, soo I guess the solution is to break up the folders to limit uner 5,000, correct?

User stats: 108658 InBox, 65439 OutBox, 1489 WasteBasket

Thanks for listing the mailbox stats.

Yes, I would suggest you go ahead and split InBox and OutBox into folders of up to 5,000 items (4,900 is a safer maximum). If you find problems with any of the new folders, try splitting them into folders which are smaller still.

Several customers have reported success with this technique. I hope this helps.

By the way, which version of GroupWise are you running?

            Kind regards,
            Advansys Support

Thanks for letting me know. I am not aware of any reason why GW 7.0.2 could cause this problem. Please try the technique suggested above.
