Archive creation fails

Hi,

I have had reports from one of our remote users that he is trying to archive messages and receives the following error for two folders:

System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80020009): An invalid argument was passed in the function call.

at Advansys.Formativ.Windows.ObjectAPI.DIGWAccount.GetMessage(String MessageID)

2009-02-17 15:07:29.468+02:00 [E] Could not retrieve message after 10 attempts (5.0 sec): index = 1, ID = 1A.UNHCRTURAN.PO.100.18.0.1A.1:

This error is repeated numerous times in the log file.

Thanks for reporting this problem. Most reports of this error involve a GroupWise native/personal archive, or a folder that contains more than 4,960 items, or both.

If a thorough GWCheck has been done already on the affected message store, I suggest dividing a large folder (4,960 or more messages) into several smaller folders (eg. Mailbox-2009, Mailbox-2008, etc.) before running Creator again.
