I have an applet that, when launched on the SEND event, appends text to the beginning (header) and at the end (footer) of every message sent using the Groupwise.PosTextTop and Groupwise.PosToEndofText commands.
However, occassionally, and usually when a reply to another message is sent, the footer text gets positioned incorrectly. Instead of being appended to the very end of the message (after the reply and all inline messages), it gets inserted in between the header text and the reply text. It’s as if Groupwise is ignoring the existing text in the reply message and treating it like a blank view with the footer immediately following the header at the very top of the message.
There have been no such problems reported for new messages.
I, myself, have not been able to reproduce this problem, although the few users who have reported it have shown me the e-mails in question.
Could you think of any reason why this might be happening? Are the bodies of replies or inline forwards treated differently than those of new messages on the SEND event?
Any help would be appreciated.
I.
