Formativ Crashes with GW 2014 – Advansys

Hello,

we recently upgraded our GW-System from 2012 to 2014.
Installing the new client for 2014 (14.0.1 build 116989, Windows 7) with Advansys Formativ Runtime intalled ends in the following error message:

“The error ‘Invalid image size’ occured during Formativ initialization. Please contact Advansys for assistance.”

When clicking ‘OK’ all icons of formativ applets disapear. But it’s still possible to start the applets from the menue.

It is Formativ Runtime 2.6.0.0 installed.

Hi Martin,

Thank you for your message. Formativ 2.6 does not support GroupWise 2014 and this explains the errors you are experiencing. Formativ 2.7 will support GroupWise 2014 and a private beta is currently available for testing. Should you wish to review the beta, please send an email to support AT advansyscorp.com confirming your request.

We anticipate that the release version of Formativ 2.7 will be available by December.
