How are the email attachments encoded/compressed in the XML data of the .fml file? The documentation says:

“To maintain XML compatibility, binary data such as attachments are compressed and encoded using open, industry standard techniques.”

However I don’t see any description of the open technique. Can you provide this information to me?

      Thanks,

      Sampson

I think i have the same question. How can I either export the data or convert it to XML?

I am facing the same situation, could I get a direct email too? Hopefully it gives some clues about the compression method.

I’m in the same boat. If I knew exactly what “open, industry-standard techniques” are used to compress and encode the binary data, especially the Mime.822 content, I think I could solve my FML-to-EML conversion problem with a simple Perl script.

I need a solution right away. I’m not looking for a FREE solution. Just tell me how many sheckles to send and where to send ’em! 🙂

                  Thanks!

We have sent you email about the “PST Creator” beta, we look forward to receiving your feedback and suggestions.

If you want to know about the compression method then feel free to let us know.

I am facing the same problem, can you provide me with the decoding information (since all answers are done by direct mail)?

                          Hi

Could you please let me know about the type of compression and the open industry encoding that has been used to incorporate the attachment binary data in the FML file.
