One individual can install with no problem, however I recieve a error “TrustedApplicationAuthenticationException” when defining a GroupWise system. What am I missing?
In order to create a GroupWise system definition, Archive To Go needs to create a Trusted Application Object within GroupWise. In order to create a Trusted Application object, you require Admin rights to the Domain database. Without the appropriate rights, an authentication error will occur.
Try increasing your rights to the Domain Database and try again. Please let us know if you continue to experience difficulty.
It should work if you have full rights. I’ll contact you directly via email to get a debug version of Novell’s Trusted Application library. It displays authentication information which generally indicates the exact cause of the rights problem.
I am having a similar problem. I installed Archive2Go and it works fine on one system. If I load it on another it failes. I can see the trusted application entry in ConsoleOne. I get the following error: “COM object with CLSID {99C5B7D2-8CF7-40C1-A8E0-0EE54FF92AB9} is either not valid or not registered.”
‘{99C5B7D2-8CF7-40C1-A8E0-0EE54FF92AB9}’ is a component of the GroupWise client. Which version of the GroupWise client was installed on the machine where the application failed? We only support 6.5.x (with the actual point release version still be determined).
It appears you have been able to create the Trusted Application object with the debug version of the Trusted Application object. Are you now able to access other’s accounts in order to archive them?
