Portal Javascript error – Advansys

I’m considering developing a web application similar to:
http://gwt.google.com/samples/Mail/Mail.html

I am using Formativ Creator 2.0.1. I will require a Formativ Portal to access this application. I found that when I point my portal to the URL above, I receive the following error:
“An error has occurred in the script on this page.”

Char: 68
Error: Unspecified error.
Code: 0
URL: http://gwt.google.com/samples/Mail/Mail.html
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
I select Yes, and the page is blank. The same page loads fine in IE.

Is there anything I can set to allow the Javascript to load properly or is this a limitation of the current Formativ Portal implementation?

Unfortunately, this is a known issue (see below the previous posts) with the Internet Explorer ActiveX control (used by the portals) when used in a particular context. The work around as suggested in the thread below to change the authentication scheme of the web site.

FYI, I can access the Gmail in portal (http://mail.google.com/mail).
