      We are using Formative 2.0 for Groupwise 6.5 on Windows XP Pro SP3. Using the Print Message applet on one computer, the page to print will no longer display. The message you get is the same as when you are using Internet Explorer and caanot connect to a web page that you had requested. The print message applet worked successfully for a long time, and issues are just on one pc. It is probably a windows issue rather than a formative issue. Has anyone else experienced this and could offer advice on how to resolve.

        It appear the issue is environmental. Do you see the message to print in Formativ Portals? Does the behaviour is the same for all messages or some specific message?

        Could you provide more information. Which version of the Internet Explorer you are running?

        You may need to upgrade the GroupWise client to the latest point release.

          No, I cannot see the message to print in formativ portals, and this is for all messages. Internet Explorer 7 is being used.

            Unfortunately, we haven’t had any report about this issue.

            Our engineers suggest you to upgrade the client to the latest point release or re-install the client.

              Further to Support 3’s suggestions:

              • Are you able to view a range of different web pages using Internet Explorer?
              • Are you able to view HTML-format messages in GroupWise?
              • Are you able to print from GroupWise?

                Yes, I am able to view a variety of web pages using Internet Explorer, and able to view html messages in groupwise, and yes, I can print from groupwise.

                However, I have just found out that the user can longer print view/print pdf documents!!

                  This issue appear to be environmental. You may need to follow the earlier suggestions about upgrading the client.
