      Hello,

      I am loading a url throught the navigate function of the HTMLDialog.

      In this page i have some javascript that does an asynscronous call via the Msxml2.ServerXMLHTTP.4.0 ocx. The issue is that I get error “automation server can’t create object” when the “open” function is called.

      When i use a different object say Msxml2.ServerXMLHTTP.3.0 or Msxml2.XMLHTTP.4.0 i get permission denied errors.

      Please note this works 100% fine in i.e. I have added the site as a trusted site and activeX is fully enabled…

      Any help is appreciated!

        Thanks for your post.

        Unfortunately we do not have enough experience about ServerXMLHTTP. Generally “automation server can’t create object” refer that it was unable to create the ServerXMLHTTP. Please make sure, you have the Microsoft XML Parser (MSXML) version 3.0 or later installed.

        Please note, any pop-up windows do not automatically inherit the authentication from the parent window. It also could be security issues with the ActiveX which don’t appear in the main IE browswer.

          Hi, We have found that users work stations did not have the SP2 version installed of the msxml dll’s.

          Pushing the nez dll solved this issue.
