      Is there a fix for the following:

      Novell Webaccess does not show an imbedded image sent using the Personalized emailer. It shows as a seperate attachment the user has to click on seperately to see. If I send a message with the same imbedded image without using the Personalized Emailer, it shows just fine in Webaccess. I can see the image OK in my Yahoo mail using the Personalized emailer. I can also see the image using the Full Groupwise client at work using the Personalized emailer. The problem is specific to viewing the email in Novell Webaccess. I am running Formativ runtime Version 2.0.1 and Personalized Emailer Pack 2.0

        It appears the Novell WebAccess process the embedded image differently then Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail etc. The Personalized Emailer use slightly different technique when sending the email with embedded image.

        We have log this issue to our database.

          Would I have the same issue if I tried using your ‘Stationary’ product? Do you plan on releasing a fix for this? We have many users that use Webaccess, and we send official emails using letterhead that those users are unable to view and print properly. The Personalized emailer is great but this is a major bug for us.

            We haven’t had any reports about embedded images not displaying in other web mail applications (i.e. Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, etc). The engineers believe the issue could be related to Novell WebAccess. You may need to look at the Web Access message page source to understand what is happening.

            You can try the Stationery solution which uses a different technique than Personalized Emailer. Please note that Formativ commercial products are provided as free, fully featured 30-day trial software.
