      Hi folks,

I’ve got one user who can’t seem to get the Multiple Signatures applet to see his .SIG files. I’ve had him place the files in several different locations and then point to those folders with the Settings…. button, but the files don’t appear in the dialog box. I’ve also deleted the applet from his CACHE directory and had it re-downloaded from eDirectory, but still have the same problem.

      Any thoughts? Thanks!

I infer that your other users don’t have this problem with Multiple Signatures. This implies it may a version issue – with the applet or Formativ.

Please send a copy of the applet and your Formativ configuration information to the email address below:

(You can access Formativ configuration via the main GroupWise menu: select Help | About Formativ. When the about box appears, select the configuration tab, then press the ‘copy to clipboard’ button. Then paste the contents of the clipboard into the body of your email message.)

The configuration info has been sent in a separate E-mail. Let me know if you come up with anything. Thanks!

Thanks to Graham in support for helping out with this!

The user who was having problems was creating his signatures with Notepad. He was giving the correct .SIG signature extension to the file, but Notepad was appending it’s “usual” .TXT after that. Unfortunately, the user had the option turned off to display known filename extensions in Explorer, so when I was looking at the file names, they looked OK to me.

              Duh….!
