Can I use Formativ to integrate GroupWise with other applications/systems?

Yes. One of the key design goals behind Formativ was to make integrating GroupWise with other applications or systems as easy as possible.
The Formativ applet language is based on COM. This means it is very easy, from within a Formativ applet, to use any service, application or system that exposes a COM interface. For example, you could write an applet that reads your GroupWise address book and exports its contents to Microsoft Word or Excel. (See the Address Book Publisher example applet.) You could also write an applet that logs into Microsoft Outlook and imports all of its messages and address book information into your GroupWise account.
