Recording an applet does not result in all GroupWise commands being registered

The Formativ applet recording facility is not able to record every conceivable action possible in GroupWise. This is due to architectural issues in GroupWise that preclude some actions from being recordable. In particular, it is not possible to record mouse movements.
As a general rule, when recording applets you should try to use key strokes to select fields and actions as opposed to using the mouse.
The applet recorder is designed to be an applet design starting point. In many cases you will need to edit the applets the recorder creates for you to make them work in the manner intended. You should refer to the Language Guide when editing recorded applets, as in many cases there might be an unrecordable command available that provides the functionality you require.
