Many email messages have a 'TEXT.htm' attachment when synchronized to the smartphone

It is possible to compose email messages in GroupWise using either plain text or HTML. Using HTML, it is possible to apply various formatting to messages, such as bold, underline and color. When you receive an email message from a GroupWise user that was composed in HTML, the HTML formatted version of the message is actually encapsulated as an attachment called TEXT.htm. LinkWise R380 views this attachment as any other attachment, and will synchronize it if you have activated attachment support.
You can prevent these attachments from being synchronized to your smartphone by indicating you only wish to include attachments that can be viewed on the smartphone (HTML attachments cannnot be viewed from the email application). You can activate this option from the restrictions tab of the email configuration dialog within the Ericsson Communications Suite.
